This Privacy Policy explains how StayDesk collects, uses, and protects information about you and your guests when you use our resort management platform. Please read it carefully.
1. Who We Are
StayDesk ("we", "us", "our") is a resort management software platform operated by Reboot Resorts, based in Chirala, Andhra Pradesh, India. Our website is https://www.staydesk.co.in and you can reach us at sales@staydesk.co.in.
2. What Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of data:
Account data: Your name, email address, phone number, and property details when you create a StayDesk account.
Guest data: Information about your guests (names, contact details, ID proof uploads, booking history) that you enter into StayDesk on behalf of your property. You are the data controller for guest data; we process it only on your instructions.
Usage data: Log data, IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and actions taken within the platform, used to improve the product and diagnose issues.
Payment data: Billing information processed through our payment provider. We do not store full card details on our servers.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Provide and operate the StayDesk platform
- Send transactional emails (reservation confirmations, invoices, account alerts)
- Respond to your support queries
- Improve the product based on usage patterns
- Comply with legal obligations under Indian law
We do not sell your data or your guests' data to any third party. We do not use it for advertising.
4. Data Storage and Security
All data is stored on servers located in India. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest). We perform daily automated backups. Access to your data is restricted to StayDesk staff who need it to provide support.
5. Guest Data — Your Responsibility
When you use StayDesk to store guest information, you are responsible for collecting that data lawfully and for informing guests that their data is stored in your property management system. StayDesk processes guest data only under your instructions as a data processor.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active, and for 90 days after account closure (so you can reactivate or export). You can request full deletion at any time by emailing sales@staydesk.co.in.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can export all your data from your StayDesk dashboard at any time. To request deletion or a data export, email sales@staydesk.co.in. We will respond within 7 working days.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to maintain session security. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but doing so will prevent you from logging in.
9. Third-Party Services
StayDesk integrates with OTA platforms (Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, Agoda, Airbnb) to sync availability and reservations. Data shared with these platforms is governed by their own privacy policies. We also use a payment gateway (Razorpay or equivalent) for billing, which has its own privacy policy.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date below. Continued use of StayDesk after changes constitutes acceptance.
